Tim McPherson has joined Douglas Products in the newly created position of global regulatory leader.
McPherson joins Douglas Products after serving as senior U.S. product registration manager for DuPont Crop Protection, Newark, Delaware. Previously he served as director of regulatory affairs for Landis International, Newark, Delaware. He began his regulatory career with Griffin LLC, Valdosta, Georgia, where he was the registration and product development manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For Griffin, he then served as senior registration specialist and supply chain manager. McPherson earned a degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University. McPherson is supported by Ellen Thoms, Ph.D., and Barb Nead-Nylander, Ph.D. He reports to Wes Long, chief financial officer for Douglas Products.
Two Douglas Products leaders have assumed new, focused roles to serve expanding market needs.
Janet Rowley has been named to the newly created position of international business leader. The position recognizes Janet’s deep understanding of the fumigation market, her business development skills and her active work during the past year working with distribution and fumigators overseas. In addition, Janet will oversee our strategic projects growth initiative and remain active in key U.S. regulatory matters.
Heather Kern has been named commercial leader for the North America Pest Management division. In her new position, Heather will oversee sales and marketing strategy for North America. The new position recognizes her extensive experience and industry relationships and will ensure alignment of marketing and sales functions. In addition, Heather will be responsible for product management and supply chain relationships.
Hannah Strasser has been named marketing manager, a newly created role. Strasser is responsible for implementing marketing support for Douglas Products sales and channel through market strategy, tactical marketing activities and resource support. Strasser joined Douglas Products as a business development manager, serving distributors and fumigators in Southern California. She previously served as a sales representative for Dow AgroSciences supporting Vikane® gas fumigant distribution and fumigators in Southern California. Strasser holds a degree in agricultural economics from Purdue. She reports to Heather Kern, commercial leader.
