Steve Niedzwiedzki Honored With Prestigious Harry Balcom Award at FPMA 2024 Conference

The Harry Balcom award is given to the allied member of the Florida Pest Management Association who exemplifies the highest level of professionalism and service, and has had a significant and positive impact on the industry over the years. This prestigious recognition was presented to Steve Niedzwiedzki of Douglas Products during FPMA’s 2024 Business and Operations Expo, at the January 2024 winter conference.

“Going all the way back to 1996, when I started in the industry, you have always been there for me and other PMPs willing to help, visiting customers to advise on the best treatment strategies to solve their problem, and being available for training and consultation,” said Chris Cavanagh, associate certified entomologist/FL CPCO. “I mentioned your great industry knowledge, not only in fumigation, but all areas of pest control, and your true understanding of the PMP side of the business since that is where you first got your start. Lastly, you and your colleagues at Douglas Products have been there for many years to support FPMA through volunteering, training and sponsorship of events. It is all very much appreciated, and it is for these reasons that Steve Niedzwiedzki is presented with the award this year.”
